The best NiMHi AA & AAA's I've owned yet : Tenergy High capacity NiMH Rechargeable battery package: 8 AA 2600 mAh + 8 AAA 1000 mAh
I purchased 20 of these (AA cells) a couple of years ago. They didn't hold enough of a charge to run a flashlight, or even run small battery operated travel clocks for more than a day or two before running slow or completely stopping. I had hoped to use them for my cameras when traveling, plus other items around the house. i also bought the Sony charger and Sony AA batteries. These have charged adequately and perform well, as do the Duracell and Maxell AA batteries I own. To date, the Tenergy batteries have been unusable except for very short periods in the TV and DVD remote devices. I have tried discharging and 'refreshing' them using that feature of the Sony charger, but still no luck. Emailed the company but received a response that suggested I was probably not charging them correctly.
